HW 04 – The Compact Electric Tug for Tight Spaces and Heavy Loads
The HW 04 electric tug is the smallest model in our range, designed for use in tight spaces and inside trucks. This highly maneuverable tug is perfect for moving roll containers and is especially popular in the healthcare sector, where it helps reduce physical strain for employees.
Equipped with a powerful 400W motor and an impressive towing capacity of 800 kg, the HW 04 delivers excellent performance. Thanks to its differential drive, the tug is extremely agile and easy to steer, even in the most confined areas. The standard AGM batteries (24V/30Ah) provide up to 8 hours of runtime. Depending on usage, some customers can operate the tug for up to a week on a single charge, while others achieve 2 to 3 days. The integrated battery condition meter makes it easy to monitor the charging status.
Optional: Lithium-Ion Batteries for Heavy-Duty Use
For intensive applications, the HW 04 can be fitted with lithium-ion batteries, which fully recharge in just 2–3 hours. Partial charging is possible, increasing convenience during busy operations. The battery is charged via an external charger and a standard 230V outlet, with the charger functioning as a trickle charger to maintain optimal battery health.
Safe and Comfortable Operation
The HW 04 can be equipped with a turtle/hare switch to select between two speed settings (up to 6 km/h), allowing you to adapt the speed to the working environment. The adjustable tiller head ensures ergonomic operation, while built-in safety features—such as an emergency stop and an anti-crush safety button—provide additional protection during use.
