HW 30 – The Heavyweight Champion of Electric Tugs

The HW 30 electric tug is the powerhouse of our series. Equipped with two powerful 600W motors, it can effortlessly move loads of up to 3,000 kg. For extra reliability, the HW 30 features a worm gear transmission, specially designed for its dual-motor configuration.

Durable Battery for Long Operation

This power requires a robust energy source. The HW 30 comes with a 24V/110Ah AGM battery, fully charging in just 8 hours. Runtime depends on usage: some operators achieve up to a week on a single charge, while others get 2–3 days. The built-in battery condition meter lets you monitor charge levels at a glance.

Charging is done via an external charger and standard 230V outlet, which also functions as a trickle charger, helping extend battery life.

Flexible Speed: Hare and Turtle Modes

The optional turtle/hare switch allows you to choose between two speeds. In hare mode, the tug reaches a top speed of 6 km/h, ideal when traveling without a load. Turtle mode provides a slower, adjustable speed for precise operations. Without this switch, the tug operates at a single standard speed.

Comfort and Safety for the Operator

Designed with operator comfort and safety in mind, the HW 30 features an adjustable tiller head, suitable for users of all heights. The head can also be positioned upright for compact storage.

Safety features include an emergency stop and safety reverse switch, which ensures the tug always moves forward if it detects an obstacle, preventing the operator from being trapped.
